Although demolition sounds drastic, it’s not. It can be a part of a building or a warehouse mezzanine, or even an entire house. Whatever it is, it needs to be done by experts for a clean, complete, professional and above all, safe job.
We do it taking into consideration the working environment. Rubble and any harmful products are discarded following environmental and safety protocols. 90% of the rubble is recycled.

A condemned building can be demolished but it can also be salvaged thanks to certain measures. This decision depends on several elements. If the building is contaminated, we conduct a thorough study to determine exactly what needs to be done. Sometimes an asbestos removal job is the solution.

Working on the estimate
- Our multidisciplinary team assesses very meticulously what resources are needed for the job: workforce, equipment, schedule, etc. We have all that it takes to have the job done; even customized or upgraded tools to fit your needs.
- Each site is different, and we take into consideration the particularities of each working environment so that it is minimally impacted by our job. Working on operational sites such as hospitals, universities and even airports, no efforts are spared to limit the nuisance due to noise (adjusting our working hours) and dust (limiting zone and installing filter ventilating machines).
- This all allows us to determine our working techniques and plans and therefore provide you with an estimate.

- Comes the step where permits, assessments, and other prerequisites must be completed. If needed, Structure Tone’s team can help you get everything ready for mobilization date.

Mobilization
- Safety is our #1 concern. In our line of work there are no half measures, and more so regarding security and safety. Dealing with asbestos, working at heights and near high voltage are examples of high-risk tasks where protocols are strictly followed.
- A site tour is planned before we start working to make sure there are no safety issues. Daily and weekly toolbox meetings are also held to review security protocols specific to the site’s conditions.
- Structure Tone offers turnkey demolition projects that include covering all preliminary works such as shutting down site utilities (electrical, plumbing, etc.). These can also be done by your contractor to have everything ready before work starts.
